PipolMaps is an application that allows people to create new social connections with interesting people, share passions and do activities with them IN THE REAL WORLD.
PipolMaps helps people get what we love to call “the complete you”.

The Problem
In today’s age, we can connect with people on social media platforms and engage each other in incredibly novel ways.
Despite all the friends we can make virtually, society is facing an epidemic of loneliness, boredom and social dysfunction.

Because of hyper-connectivity, people are struggling to meet people and develop their interests organically.
The Solution
The PipolMaps app is a smarter way to connect with interesting people around you and cultivate your passions.
Users are be able to specify their interests and connect with people who share those same interests in a seamless graphical user interface.

Revenue Model
The first component of our revenue model is subscriptions from people who want to be more visible and reachable.
The next component is revenue from some paid activities and services like teaching or helping people nearby.

Go-to-market Strategy
Our target market is people that are 24 to 45 years old and based in Milan.
There are four hundred thousand people who meet this criteria (400,000) and from this group we plan to acquire 2% as paying users which results in eight thousand people (8,000) as the target for our initial user acquisition push.

We will reach customers via social media and search advertising as well as a partnership campaign with community leaders in Milan called “You Are From Milan If”.
We will embark on Community Nurturing Initiatives where we would pull feedback from our early adopters users and validate our system.
We will have a limited special for a three-month free subscription which will give us more traction right before launch.
After the launch in September 2021, we aim to go international and enter the US market and repeating the validation process used in Milan.

Our Team
Our team is composed of Angelo Scipio and Olga Montesanto, respectively CEO and Product Manager, who have gained different experiences in the startup space working for Huulke, co-founder of PipolMaps and a very active startup studio in Milan which guarantees 360 degree software development, headquarters and investor relations.

To validate our initial model, we need fifty thousand (50,000) users and to acquire such a number will require an estimated sixty-five thousand euros (€ 65,000) in ad spending.
The remaining part will cover the cost for a dedicated community manager.
