Brad Gelfond’s experience includes representing talent, working with brands on entertainment marketing programs, and selling content to advertisers.

Brad has been working with artists his entire career, including stints as VP of Contemporary Music at William Morris, and Head of Business Development at The Agency Group (recently purchased by UTA). At William Morris, Brad represented Paul Simon, Lou Reed, Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, The Pet Shop Boys, Whitney Houston, Johnny Clegg, Laurie Anderson, and many others. He recently expanded his business, to include the representation of digital content creator influencers – those who have a big social media followings, across a variety of social platforms. He now works with clients like Jeana Smith (BFvsGF), Zack Evans & Justin Tan (Buzzfeed), Kurt Hugo Schneider, Brandon Baldwin (GizmoSlip), Tyler Ward, Wisecrack, and Bria and Chrissy.

Previously, Brad was SVP Brand & Content Partnerships and Strategic Development at Warner Bros. Records.   At WBR, he created brand partnerships for Green Day, Ashley Tisdale, Metallica, Alanis Morissette, and Michael Buble with Unilever, Sprint, American Express, Blackberry, Trojan, Macy’s, and many others.

A deal that Brad partnered with BBH, the City of New York, and the band Oasis won the Grandy at the 2009 Andy Awards as well as a Titanium & Integrated Lion and Gold Lion at Cannes, and is currently a part of the permanent collection at MOMA in New York.

Strike up the Brand started as a strategic music marketing resource for brands, primarily creating music and entertainment marketing solutions as a way for brands to have a meaningful conversation with consumers. Working with brands like Bacardi, Nokia, Kia and Keds, Brad crafted marketing programs centered around music. In addition, he has acted as a business development consultant to IMG and their corporate clients like Marriott and Verizon.
