Shuta, Forbes 30 Under 30, from Japan

Few weeks ago we had the pleasure to record a quick chat with Shuta, participant at M Accelerator with Fuller, a growth-stage startup.

Shuta Shibuya - CEO, Fuller

Here below the transcription.

We raised in total $15M so far. I’m Shuta and I’m from Japan. I’m the founder and CEO of the Japanese startup called Fuller.

We provide mobile app analytics for app developers. We are number one share company in Japan.

And right now I’m planning to expand our business in the United States.

In 2016 I got selected as one of the members of Forbes magazine in 30 under 30. I started my company 7 years ago and now we have more than a hundred staff members in Japan.

I was looking for lots of accelerator programs based like in San Francisco, Portland, here in LA and I think Los Angeles is really good for us to enter this market. I could find some good friends here.

I think it’s really good for global entrepreneurs to take this kind of program because of course expanding is always harder because there are lots of barriers and obstacles, like language barriers of course and culture and business culture differences.

During this program, I could get lots of, you know, experiences and knowledge from lessons and also from friends.

M Accelerator program is very good for every global entrepreneur.

For us it’s very important to understand clients’ insights. I think that this is not just like localization but this is, like, one more, second stage of our startup.

I think M Accelerator is very good for global entrepreneurs, any global entrepreneur, there are lots of variety of people from different countries like someone is from Europe and someone is from Africa.

Yeah it was a really exciting experience for me!
