LOS ANGELES- January 13, 2019 Later this week, M Accelerator will welcome Alessia Rotondo to share her experience as Senior Writer for YouTube at Freeda, a fast-growing media company founded in Italy and currently spreading its message about equality, diversity, and inclusion all over the world.
She will present the company’s mixed data-driven and creative process, insightful teamwork process, tools that make a positive message outstanding, production’s challenges, and rewards that come with connecting with your audience in an authentic way.
Alessia will also talk about the importance of Freeda as a social medium to address serious and not-so-serious topics with young audiences.
Alessia Rotondo
Born in Sicily, she’s now based in Milan, Italy, where she works as a full-time writer.
In 2013, she was selected for a scholarship and attended the STFT at UCLA to work on a non-linear storytelling project. (Program created by Alessandro M. founder at M Accelerator)
She takes care of the international relations and the program of the Pentedattilo Film Festival, an international short film festival set in a ghost town in southern Italy.
In 2017 she founded Towanda! Studio, a space of creativity for young freelancers. She is currently a Senior Writer for YouTube at Freeda, a high-impact Italian media company that has revolutionized storytelling by, about and for young women.
