The national marriage project, a study conducted by the University of Virginia, has found that it is 350% more likely for a couple to stay together longer if they spend at least once a week spending quality time together. They have also found that chances of divorce are slashed 52% if they are spending quality time at least once a week.
One of the main reasons why couples don’t schedule date nights as often is because they are tired of the same old restaurants and experiences and it isn’t something to look forward to anymore.

The Total U.S. spending on date nights nationwide is estimated to be worth 33 billion dollars. And our targeted market of 18-44 years olds are spending nearly 23 billion dollars annually to go on their dates. Twiine is a mobile app targeted towards indecisive couples that allows them to plan unique and memorable dates. Unique and memorable experiences provided to users through a simple process.
A candlelit dinner with an orchestra playing for you. Or maybe even a dinner 400 feet in the sky! It’s these unique experiences that make date nights fun, exciting, and something to look forward to. But sometimes all those cool things don’t fit a person or their significant other’s taste. And that’s ok because Twiine is a mobile app that will take a user and their significant other’s matched interests and recommend amazing experiences that will spice up your date nights.
And this is how it looks! We have gone through 7 different design prototype iterations before coming up with these ones. With Twiine, you will notice that we take care of the ENTIRE date planning process. From idea to scheduling, we make it super easy.
Revenue Model
Our business model revolves around businesses. At the moment, we are testing two revenue models: Business Affiliate Programs and Ad Revenue through Native Advertising. We decided it would be best to charge businesses because our platform is able to send businesses’ target personas to their storefronts. We are also looking into other streams of revenue for the future.
Go-To-Market Strategy
In 5 years, we see ourselves integrating with all of the major dating apps. At the moment, dating apps do a great job of having people match and chat. But they don’t cater to the date planning process. We want to integrate with them and complete the entire dating experience. Online to physical. In addition, we also see ourselves integrating with several travel apps. Imagine you are on a trip with your friends or significant other to Texas. If you’re not from there, you’re not going to know what to do. Twiine can compromise and make your explorations simpler with it’s recommendation system.
Traction
At the moment, we have 248 waitlisted users and 73 affiliate test businesses on our platform. We are expecting to have a no-code application in the app store by the end of this month.
Right now, our users love our product. Businesses are interested in signing up. And we’re just getting started.
